Filler Hand Rejuvenation

You’ve worked hard keeping your face youthful and refreshed, so the last thing you want is for your hands to give your age away! The hands are often forgotten when it comes to rejuvenation procedures. However, they are one of the first areas which are noticed by others, especially when there are years between the appearance of your face and hands. Just like our faces, our hands will show the signs of aging. In some cases our hands may even make us look older than we are. As we age our hands lose fat– along with collagen– which decreases the elasticity and leads to thinning of our skin. Exposure to sun over the years causes pigment changes in the hands and results in unsightly dark spots on the back of our hands. Also, as the skin becomes loose and wrinkled, the veins and tendons of the hand become more noticeable. There used to be no easy way to combat the signs of aging in the hands. Today, however, Juvederm, has become an excellent option for restoring the volume and smoothness that our youthful hands once had. Juvederm Ultra XC works by restoring the volume of hyaluronic acid in your skin, helping to reduce wrinkles and smooth out folds. Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring sugar found in the human body. Hyaluronic acid creates volume in the skin by delivering nutrients and by holding in water, making sure the skin stays hydrated. Its function is very similar to that of a sponge–it soaks up and absorbs water–which in this case creates volume in the skin of your hands. Think of hyaluronic acid as the body’s internal moisturizer! Hand rejuvenation with dermal fillers is an affordable, non-invasive way to treat volume loss and thinning of the skin that occurs with aging. Using dermal fillers to restore the volume and smooth away wrinkles of the hands is a procedure with little discomfort and no downtime.

Rejuva-EARs! Another unique use for Dermal Filler

Do your ear hang low, can you swing them to and fro? Have you noticed that your earlobes aren’t shaped quite as nicely as they once were? Have years of wearing heavy earrings caused them to sag? As many people age, they become concerned with rejuvenating and restoring the youthful appearance of their face, and oftentimes forget about other important areas such as the neck, hands, chest, and ear lobes! Sagging earlobes and stretched out piercings can actually be improved with dermal filler injections. The expert injectors at Skinjectables Anti-Aging Bar in Tucson can tailor an injectable treatment plan specifically to your needs to firm up and reshape the ears.

Using Voluma to create support for crows feet

Most people think that Botox is the only treatment solution for crows feet and softening the eye area. By using a dermal filler (such as Voluma), a "support" can be created to soften and smooth the overall appearance.

Phase I PRP LifeLift

We draw approximately 20mL of your blood which is spun up and separated in a special process allowing us to harvest a significant amount of Buffy Coat, PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and PPP (Platelet Poor Plasma). We then apply a local topical anesthesia, BLT (Benzocaine, Lidocaine and Tetracaine) to the areas we will be treating. This will aid these areas in becoming numb within minutes to reduce any major discomfort. PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Therapy utilizes the growth factors in your own blood plasma to stimulate collagen production and increase circulation. The PRP is separated from your blood and then injected in areas showing volume loss, translucency and sagging. In short, this treatment adds volume to your skin and stimulates cells to reproduce. Your PRP harvest is injected using very small syringes. Normally we use insulin sized needles for the aesthetic treatments and inject small amounts throughout the entire area. This allows for an even stimulation of growth cells. We concentrate any extra PRP in the specific targets areas requiring more treatment. See Phase II Video for booster therapy

Phase II Rejuvapen - Post cannula PRP treatment

This second and last phase brings about tremendous results; Rejuvapen Needling Therapy creates tiny channels in the skin allowing for better penetration of growth factors applied topically. The channels close naturally and the growth factors stimulate healing. The result is visibly tightened skin with improved texture, tone and a clear reduction in pore size, fine lines and wrinkles.
