CLIENT: In addition to sunscreen, what are two of the best things a person can do to have healthy skin?
KATIE: The single most important thing a person can do for their skin, especially here in Arizona, is to stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water each day is vital to maintaining the skin’s health, moisture content and suppleness. I know it is boring, but eating a well balanced colorful diet and getting plenty of sleep is also incredibly important to helping skin achieve radiance, uniform tone and combatting dark under eye circles. If genetics haven’t tipped the scales in your favor, such as we pale Irish folk, then sun avoidance and sun protection is crucial and should be implemented without pause for thought.
